43, of St. Petersburg, passed away April 25, 2006. He was born in Griffith, Ind., and moved to St. Petersburg in 1990 from Ogden Dunes, Ind. He was a financial mutual funds specialist at Raymond James Financial. He was a Navy veteran and member of the American Legion 305, St. Pete Beach. He managed and played for Georgie's Alibi RuffRider's softball team in St. Petersburg and was a dedicated fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Chicago Bears. Survivors include his companion of 22 years, Don "Beave" Eggebrecht; two sons, Zach and Beau; his mother, Sharon Carpenter, Griffith; two sisters, Elizabeth Phillips, Michigan City, Ind., and Jennifer Phillips, Lowell, Ind.; his grandmother, Opal Leonard, Griffith; and two nieces, Cecelia Phillips, Lowell, and Alicia Phillips, Michigan City.
Stevie passed away in July of 1998. During the
years he played in the league
playing for the Tampa Solar, XTC, and
Tampa Eagle teams
he was always the first one to support any team or
league function. Everybody that knew him
knew of his quick wit, wicked
sense of humor and ability to make a bad situation better.
Played on the old Paws/Rascals team.
Played on the Ho-Ho's Dragons team.

Michael played for the City
Side team until his tragic passing in May 2004.

Ray also played on Robert Sanders' City
Side team.
Tom played with the City Side
team that Devin coached.
He was funny and a great person to be
around. His accident was a tragedy
and it robbed all of us of his
good nature and friendship.

J. W. played on the RuffRiders and the Aces.
Passed Away in February 2003. Played for
several years on the Paws team.
