The New Player Skills Assessment Clinics for the Spring Season will be held on February 26, 2011 at Gadsden Fields #1 & #2 (around back) on S. MacDill(right before the AFB on the right) beginning at 9am and ending around 11am. Please RSVP via the website to sign up! Please indicate the date you plan to attend & include your full name (no nicknames) & phone number where you can be reached. The new season will begin on March 13, 2011.

You will be evaluated based on your abilities: hitting, running, throwing and catching. There will be people there with zero experience and some with several years experience. All will be placed on teams. This is not a try out nor will you be picked out of a line for your team! After each group is evaluated, there will be a brief meeting welcoming you to the league as well as to be provided specific information about the current season, etc.

You should wear comfortable clothing, running shoes (sneakers) or cleats (non-metal) if you have them. You also need to bring a glove/mitt. We will have bats at the fields for use. This is a slow pitch league and there are player fees for each season. Player fees are $45.00 ($35.00 player fee + $10.00 insurance fee).

Each player is rated and must play in the proper division based on their skill level. This is done to limit the chance of injury and to keep recreational divisions separate from competitive ones. We have 3 divisions in our league, "D": a recreational division, "C": a competitive division and "B": for advanced players.
