The Suncoast Softball League was organized in 1994 to promote a friendly, competitive and emotionally safe environment for gay men and women in the Tampa Bay area to participate in the sport of softball. Our goal as a league is to promote sportspersonship, tolerance and acceptance of GLBT persons as well as those in our community who are friendly and supportive of our ideals.

SSL ELECTIONS INFO: Date of Elections: May 18 Positions Open: SSL Commissioner, Ass't B, C, D Commissioners (3), Treasurer, Secretary, and Parliamentarian. Awards: Team Tampa Bay Award (1 Individual) Team Spirit Award (1 Team). The elections will be held at Greco fields in the managers office. (2nd floor above the snack bar) MR. & MISS SSL SOFTBALL PAGEANT Mothers Day Weekend Sat. May 10th @ 7 p.m. The Suncoast Softball league will host its annual Mr. and Miss SSL competition for local charities. This years event will take place at Georgie's Alibi in St Pete at 7pm. The contestants will be players from our softball league. The winner is not chosen by looks or talent but by the amount of money he/she brings in. All money raised will be donated to local charities. If you are interested in competing please email Doug otherwise we hope see you there to support your favorite Mr. or Miss!
